The fruit for this Cabernet Franc was sourced from a very small vineyard on the west side of Paso Robles. It spent 18 months in barrel. Dusty on the nose with spice and flowers, followed by hints of blueberries and cherries. You'll find this wine to have bright red currant, dark fruit and subtle notes of cigar box. With bigger tannins, this wine is still approachable and has great structure with earthy undertones. A great wine for fall with fresh crushed dried herbs, sage and anise. Pair with rack of lamb, red wine poached pears, or truffle risotto.
